Perafort cap a Porto!!
D’igual manera que el passat any tot anat a córrer a Amsterdam, aquest any en vàrem proposar conquerir la ciutat de Porto.
El passat 28 d’octubre un grup de corredors de l’Associació Esportiva Perafortbike ens vam desplaçar fins a Porto per tal de prendre part en la 9ª edició de la Marató do Porto 2012. Aquests corredors tenen nom i cognoms, son, Agustí Martí, Albert Aguilà i Sergi Vernet i David Siendones. Van tenir la possibilitat de recórrer els diferents carrers del centre històric de la ciutat, un pèl oblidats.
Tot els atletes van finalitzar les seves curses dins dels temps; va ser la culminació d’un projecte que es va iniciar uns mesos abans, amb la preparació de les curses, els entrenaments, el viatge, etc… Aquesta iniciativa ha estat possible una vegada més gràcies a la col•laboració de l’Ajuntament de Perafort, l’Associació Esportiva, Solarca SA, Tecnolimp SL, Artigraph, Wala Tarragona, Instal•lacions Olivé SCP i Restaurant Ca Vidal.
Des d’aquí donar les gràcies als col•laboradors i a tots els components de l’Associació per materialitzar aquest projecte.
Com anècdota del viatge, vàrem tenir l’agradable sorpresa de trobar-nos amb Abel Antón Rodrigo, doble campió mundial d’atletisme en marató (Atenes 97 i Sevilla 99), així com també amb el campió del món de marató a Göteborg 95, Martín Fiz Martín, tal i com podeu observar en la fotografia.
